“She has spunk. She is charming. When you combine these things with a fun-loving approach to music, nothing is going to be able to stop you… or her.”
— Joshua Smotherman | Middle Tennessee Music.

Eileen Carey releases “Sweet Love,” hot on the heels of her recent nomination for Female Country Artist of the Year and recent number one song.

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA, USA – February 6th, 2015 – Multi-award winning country music singer/songwriter Eileen Carey has had a busy winter of successes. Carey’s latest album, Let It Go, has yielded her first chart-topping single, “Bottle Your Crazy Up,” and resulted in a nomination for Female Country Artist of the Year via New Music Weekly. Hot on the heels of her recent feats, Eileen has released the third single from Let It Go to radio. Within the new tune, Carey is giving her fans “Sweet Love,” just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“Sweet Love” is a co-write between Carey and songstress Kathryn Grimm, who also teamed up to pen the album’s title-track, “Let It Go,” which received heavy rotation in 2014. “Sweet Love” is a mid-tempo, uplifting escapade that reflects back on a long-term relationship between two people deeply in love. Along with the song’s time and tempo changes, Carey and Grimm follow the stylistic theme of Let It Go, which examines the ups and downs of the human condition. Carey explains, “Life’s a rollercoaster, in this CD I wanted to give people glimpses of all these emotions.”

Upon its release in 2014, music critics hailed Let It Go as Carey’s best work to date, and her recent awards and accolades are proving them prophetic. Eileen hopes to repeat with “Sweet Love” what she accomplished with her prior release of, “Bottle Your Crazy Up.” The boot-scootin’ tune, “Bottle Your Crazy Up,” topped the Music Row Charts and The Marco Club Connection Top 40 dancehall charts. The single spent many weeks at number one on the New Music Weekly’s Country Top 30 Indie Chart.

Produced by the gifted Travis Allen Childress of Nashville Tracks, Let It Go was a team effort and included the background vocals of Byron Holly and Heather Wiggins. Talented session players included: John McDuffie, Grant Nicholas, and John Heinrich. For Eileen Carey it is sharing the story within a song that is key. For Valentine’s Day, she’s sending “Sweet Love” out to all her fans. Look for a copy of the song on Valentine’s Day via Twitter and Facebook under the hashtag #ValentinesDaySongs.
